We only charge when you want unlimited filings and the clean, filing-ready file.

The submittable file. Everyone, on every plan, sees their real certified artifact at a private link: the authorship profile, the decision breakdown, the Merkle proof. On Free that page is watermarked "preview, not for filing" and the Material Excluded declaration the Copyright Office needs is held back. Pro lifts the watermark and unlocks the export: a clean file with the Material Excluded block, ready to attach to a copyright.gov application. You are not paying to use the product. You are paying for the asset you can file.

Same evidence, two states. The preview is the live page you and anyone with the link can see: it proves the record exists and shows what is in it, watermarked so nobody mistakes it for a finished filing. The export is the downloadable document with the Copyright Office disclaimer language included and the watermark gone. The preview tells the story. The export is the thing you hand to the government.

Storage is cheap. We keep hashes, not your whole transcript, which strips roughly 97 percent of the bytes. The real variable cost is the AI scoring that reads your human-authored work, so Free analyzes once at capture and Pro re-analyzes across the full window whenever you want. Composing a certificate runs about a tenth of a cent. The gate was never about our costs. It is about the value of a file you can actually file, and the reputational damage of junk filings flooding the Copyright Office.

Today your captures are stored in cleartext so you can read your own ledger, and you can hard-delete any of it with one click. Client-side encryption, where your content is sealed before it ever reaches us, is on the roadmap and something we will build with Enterprise customers who need zero-knowledge handling.

Every capture is hashed the moment it happens and linked into a chain, so the timeline cannot be backdated or altered. When you certify a filing, those hashes resolve to one Merkle root. You walk away with a portable, tamper-evident record of who authored what, and when.

You drop to Free. Your account stays, your already-certified filings keep their proofs forever, and your ledger is still yours to view or hard-delete. You simply lose new certification and unlimited filings until you upgrade again.
